“A Nice Bunch 3” is a painting from the Bathers series by contemporary painter Cécile Colombo.
In her series of Bathers she presents women in beachwear, generously shaped and comfortable in their skin.
At the gallery, the reactions of passers-by are unanimous. A painting that feels good! The artist mixes several mediums in her paintings. Collage, ink, watercolour and acrylic paint enliven the painting. Cécile Colombo has fun creating motifs that take us back to the positive style of the 70s. Flashy colours, drawings of fruits, geometrical patterns, flowery bathing caps…
It is also her own story that she tells us in “A Nice Bunch 3”. As a child in Marseille, she accompanied her aunts to the beach, who themselves met up with their sunbathing and swimming friends. In short, these paintings are full of happy nostalgia and affectionate memories.

A set of 4 bathers' plates for decoration, but it would be a shame not to use them in the kitchen.
