“Confidential” is a square painting on paper by the artist M.Cohen.

In a work as aesthetic as poetic, the artist puts in situation of proximity papers of varied origins. Scribbles, old pages, bills, writings, newspapers, strong or incomprehensible signs. Surprising encounters will then be born. After a few battles, superimpositions, cuttings, where the material is shredded and sometimes rolled, then glued. The fragile paper thus transformed, already saturated with information, is for the artist a renewal.
By underlining, adding colors, signs, subtracting, subtracting, obscuring … she tends to create a new object that offers to dream and to see.
In “Confidential”, there is very little text or message. The small interlocking pieces contain other signs: shapes, colors or small drawings, look for them if you want, it remains confidential…
