“Emile Pierrot Marcel-bathers” is a painting on canvas by the contemporary artist Cécile Colombo.

In her paintings the artist uses different techniques. Collage, ink, acrylic paint and watercolour give life to the work.

For many years she has been painting Mediterranean subjects. She is particularly known for her female figures in colourful dresses or swimming costumes. Round and flirtatious women who give a smile to all visitors of our art gallery. Occasionally she paints men. If you look closely, the male version has characters that look exactly like those in the female version. They too have outdated names. Also all round and overflowing the frame. Stunned looks off camera… Basically they are the same and they tell the same personal and family story of Cécile Colombo. The story of happy memories, the nostalgia of childhood.
