“Turquoise Light I -uk” is a ceramic sculpture by the contemporary artist Marina Óáz

Marina ÓÁZ has been interested in the design and construction of structures since childhood. She has an engineering background and many years of experience in the energy sector. Today she works on large power plant sites.

“Turquoise Light – uk” is a testimony to Marina Óáz’s taste for organic forms. This original candle jar is textured, cut, glazed and fired at 1250 degrees. We like the contrast of the colours and the matt finish of the raw clay and the satin finish of the glaze.
