“Cyanotype n°17” is a work on paper by Valérie Gho.

We bring nature into the house with the contemporary creations of Valérie Gho. This ancient technique was used to illustrate printed herbarium books as early as the middle of the 19th century. In particular thanks to the pioneer of the genre Anna Atkins.

And as a nod to the handmade herbariums of that time, we have chosen to insert the work between two anti-reflection glasses, set with a fine gold rod.

By two, by three or more, these small square works will be of the most beautiful effect in a bohemian decoration with rattan and Berber rugs. In “Cyanotype n°17” we are fans of the combination of gold and Prussian blue, which results from the exposure of a photosensitive product to daylight.
